Human toxicity: scope of the model

Hello,

I am using USEtox 2 model to estimate the potential health risk of cancerous and non-cancerous effects of fertiliser substances emitted to the environment. However, I'm having trouble understanding the scope of the model: am I looking at application of fertiliser only or at application and production stages? As my data input, I use type of fertiliser and amount of fertilizer applied.

Thanks!

Human toxicity

USEtox 2 factors refer to emissions of a given toxic chemical into air, water or soil, irrespective of where and when along a product life cycle these emissions occur. If fertilizers contain any toxic chemicals, then USEtox 2 can be applied to emissions of these chemicals as well.
