If my determined substance is completely soluble or insoluble, how do I have to fill the gap “Sol25”?

RE: Solubility in USEtox

Thank you for your question. You raise an important point for practitioners.

Here are some general recommendations:

"Completely" soluble: pick a number that simulates that the substance is infinitely soluble, e.g. 1,000,000 mg/l. (this value is also chosen for e.g. ethanol in U.S. EPI Suite program)

"Completely" insoluble: pick a very small number so that USEtox™ can still run (i.e. ZERO is not an option), e.g. 1E-16 mg/l.
