I am updating an old project that used HTPs as published in Hertwich et al 2006 (An Update of the Human Toxicity Potential with Special Consideration of Conventional Air Pollutants).
What is the comparable factor in USEtox? How can I figure out if the HTPs I used are similar to what USEtox would produce, and therefore identify any significant differences..
Thanks!
Thank you for your question.
Conventional air pollutants (SO2, particulate matter, NOx, NH3, HCl, etc.) are not in USEtox. The HTPs of Hertwich for the ‘normal’ organic compounds are comparable with the CTPs for human toxicological effects (of course when looking at the same chemical and emission compartment).
